The Lifeloc FC10Plus unit is vastly superior to the Alco-Sensor IV unit that my department is currently using. I was quite impressed with the design and function. I would recommend the Lifeloc PBT to others because it is easy to use, easy to train new users, and the results are very quick.

I found this PBT to be much better and a lot more user friendly than the ones the department currently has. As a traffic DUI investigator, I like the fact that the FC10Plus has an auto and manual mode for obtaining a breath sample. I also like the fact that it shows you how much air is being blown into the PBT as the person is blowing. The fact that is has a memory and you can change out batteries or turn off the PBT without losing your information is also a nice feature. I believe the FC10Plus is extremely accurate based on the fact that I have had numerous DUIs since having the PBT and I have found the BAC levels to be extremely close to the evidential readings.

I like the fact that the unit seemed to perform better in colder weather. The Intoximeter generally has a slower return time in cooler weather. I would recommend it to others based on its size, ease of use and available features.
