We dealt with a party involving approximately 30 minors last week that made the local newspaper. We had two officers screening the kids with two FC's in an assembly line fashion. We issued 8-10 MIP tickets. The speed that the FC reset was extremely helpful. This never would have been possible with our previous machines. In fact, officers from other nearby agencies that don't have the devices yet asked us what they are. Of course we tease them. They get jealous.

I enjoyed the display and liked the idea of seeing a breath test graph which made it easy to identify when a suspect was playing with the machine. Testing results were easily read and clear. After each test, I found the unit to clear in about 30 seconds or less. Having a "wait" period so as not to allow a test until the tool was clear [of residual alcohol] was the nicest feature in the system. All readings that I did appeared in 6 seconds or less. That was very nice. I found the Lifeloc FC10 easier to use than the (deleted – competitor’s product)!
