Pressing buttons 3 & 4 simultaneously will clear the log and
allow you to perform further testing.

The
PBA uses 8 AA cell alkaline batteries. Energizer® brand are
recommended.

often should I calibrate my PBA?
The PBA should be calibrated every 6 months. In addition, check
with your program administrator for any additional requirements
or guidelines your organization may have.

How
often should I send in my PBA for service?
The
PBA should be sent to the factory for service once a year.

How
do I change the time on my PBA?
To
change the time in your PBA, press buttons 2 & 4 simultaneously,
the display will flash “Ready” briefly and return the
PBA 3000 screen. Press buttons 1 thru 4 sequentially, the display
will scroll “Set Options Config”. Press button 3 and
the time will display with the hours blinking. Press button 1 to
increase, button 2 to decrease and button 3 to change fields. Once
the desired time is set, press button 4 to save.

My
PBA scrolls “Temperature out of Range” when attempting
to calibrate or verify.
The
PBA needs to be at an internal temperature between 68 and 86 degrees.
It should give its current temperature after scrolling the above
message. If it is below 68 degrees then the unit must be warmed.
If it is above 86 degrees, then it must be cooled. If the message
persists, contact Lifeloc Tech Support for further assistance.
